Black Rock Life Saving Club

The Black Rock Life Saving Club is a community based organisation made up entirely of volunteers, which provides a range of facilities and services to the community it caters for, namely: children, teenagers, adults and family groups.

The club primary function is beach and aquatic safety but it plays a large role in community service particularly in the area of youth activities, providing a venue for "friend raising" and leisure activities whilst at the seaside.

Facilities at the club allow for the development of life saving and fitness skills in young people from the age of 5 right up to the masters age group (Over 45 years).

These skills are then put into practice as a community service whilst providing patrols on the Black Rock beach and at the same time having a great deal of fun with friends along the way.

The Club provides the facilities and a very extensive equipment base for the use of all members.

These include, inflatable rescue boats, malibu boards and skis, billiard table, table tennis tables, gym equipment, spa, hot showers, change rooms, barbecues and all catering equipment, TV, stereo and a wide range of rescue and resuscitation gear.
