What is Junior Lifesaving |
Life Saving Clubs from around Australia cater for junior members also known as nippers The Junior program is activity-based and aims to provide an environment where children can have fun, develop new skills, meet new people, learn about water safety and develop an awareness of the beach and the aquatic environment. Competition is offered in a number of different disciplines that not only assists members maintain their surf skills, but also provides children with a regular physical activity that incorporates fun and team work.

 | Training activities include coaching for Carnival events, water safety, basic first aid and resuscitation, signal flags and games. Carnival events include beach sprint, beach flags, beach relay, run wade, swim wade, board events, belt and reel. |
