Looking for the perfect venue for your next function? Look no further! Black Rock Life Saving Club offers a stunning function space available for hire to all members, the local community, and businesses.
With breathtaking views of the bay and a fabulous indoor-outdoor area, our venue is ideal for any event. Whether you’re planning a wedding, life celebration, anniversary, special gathering, or corporate meeting, our versatile space can meet your needs.
Please note that we do not accept requests for birthdays, graduations, or similar events for individuals aged 14 to 21 years.
Facilities
Our facility is equipped with everything you need:
A spacious function room and balcony with stunning views that can host up to 100 people; 72 seated / 100 standing
20 rectangle tables and 80 chairs
8 cocktail tables and 20 high stools
Large wall mounted flat-screen TV for laptop connectivity, perfect for audio conferencing, presentations, or photo slide shows
Microphone and speaker
A meeting room that caters for up to 12 people with a wall mounted smart TV.
Climate control and ceiling fans
All ability access and facilities
Bar
The club is fully licenced and offers a range of beverages. Please note that bringing your own drinks is not allowed, as we are committed to providing exceptional service through our dedicated team of bar staff.
Kitchen
Access to the kitchen for heating food is restricted to professional caterers only; to discuss your specific requirements please refer to our list of preferred caterers below.
Should you choose to use an alternative professional caterer, please note that a surcharge will apply, as well as the requirement for a food registration certificate and liability insurance. Alternatively, you may bring your own prepared food, but this will grant you only limited access to the kitchen and a security bond will be required.

Experience Our Venue
The Black Rock Bar, run by dedicated volunteers welcomes the community to enjoy the amazing sunsets while enjoying a drink, every Friday from 5pm (Sept to June) so make sure to follow our social media accounts for updates and special events. This provides a fabulous opportunity to experience the venue whilst planning your next celebration with the beautiful bay as your backdrop!
